South Lake Tahoe

So my mom just turned 60. All ten of us gathered at South Lake (luckily right after the fires were put out... thank you firefighters!). We had a wonderful time full of many first for Amina. Her first plane ride, her first long car ride, her first time in the pool and in the lake and many more. We all had a lot of time to just hang out with each other. We did a lot of hiking and a lot of reading, cooking and laughing with each other. It was such a wonderful vacation. I wish it didn't have to end. So the pictures you see are as follows: 1) The whole fam, now up to 10 people posing for a not so good annual family portrait :) 2) Emerald Bay from the top of the Vilkingsholm trail 3) An interesting shadow picture taken on the beach at Tahoe Meadows 4) Francis and I on the plane. And there are many more pictures if anyone is interested. It was a lovely time with the family. Celebrating Mom's 60th birthday, My 27th Birthday and my parent's 35th Wedding Anniversary! Wouldn't trade it for anything!
