Francis graduated from SOAC mid-December after we spent 6 months apart for the duration of the schooling. He finished in the top of his class, I'm so proud of him! In the beginning of January he'll report to his new boat the USS Alabama (Gold). Cool sidenote, it's the same boat from the movie Crimson Tide. You can actually see the boat he'll be working on by watching the movie. Denzel Washington walked those corridors!
Francis and I were so excited to spend time with the Villemaire's when they can down to visit us in Groton. Francis' scheduled a boat tour for them, so we all got to hear Francis talk about the submarine and his job. It was pretty cool!
Just saw a pretty sunset one night. Couldn't quite capture the awesome pink colors, but I tried in hopes that we could show our niece Amina!
